Qlife’s state-of-the-art manufacturing base in Tianjin spans over 5,100 square meters, housing multiple standardized assembly lines with an annual capacity of 200,000 electric bikes. Operated under strict 5S factory management and ISO 9001 quality guidelines, our production line balances automated precision with expert manual craftsmanship.
🌟 Key Highlight: Automated Wheel-Building & Tuning
To ensure long-term durability and prevent spoke loosening under heavy motor torque, Qlife utilizes advanced automatic wheel-building machines. Every wheel is laced, tensioned, and trued robotically to a tolerance of within 0.5mm, ensuring maximum stability for our fat-tire and city cargo e-bikes.

Each Qlife e-bike travels through 5 specialized zones along our production line to guarantee consistency:

Frame Preparation & Inspection
Each aluminum frame is inspected for weld integrity and alignment under laser guidance. We apply protective frame wraps to prevent scratches before entering the assembly belt.

Internal Cable Routing & Waterproofing
Technicians route electrical cables, hydraulic brake hoses, and shifting cables inside the frame tubes. Custom rubber grommets and heat-shrink wraps are applied to guarantee IP65/IPX5 water resistance.

Motor & Battery Integration
Hub motors or mid-drive units are secured to the frame using calibrated pneumatic torque wrenches to ensure perfect mechanical coupling. Batteries are fitted into their lockable compartments for structural testing.

Drivetrain & Braking Tuning
Shimano derailleurs, cassettes, and chains are installed and fine-tuned by hand. Hydraulic brake calipers are aligned and pressure-tested to eliminate spongy feel and ensure immediate stopping power.

Final Assembly & Dyno Check
Before boxing, every bike goes onto our rolling dynamometer (dyno) to test electrical current, throttle cutoff, pedal assist responsiveness, and braking distance under load.
🏭 Strict Shop Floor Management Standards
- 5S Management System: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain are strictly implemented across all production cells to eliminate defects.
- ESD Safe Area: Controller assembly and battery insertion zones are completely ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protected to prevent micro-damage to internal chips.
- Full Traceability: Every bike is matched with a unique frame serial number, allowing us to trace its manufacturing date, components, and QC inspector.
